Opportunities to Engage
As the state's housing finance agency, we know housing is an essential part of a community. Housing impacts Minnesotans of all backgrounds in all corners of the state. It touches all areas of life including education, health, jobs and more.
Our work spans a broad range of activities to meet a variety of housing needs from building homeownership pathways to supporting housing stability to funding the development and preservation of housing.
Current Opportunities
We are developing an estimate of the funding needed to meet all emergency rental assistance needs in Minnesota. Members of the public are invited to provide input on the methods and estimated annual need. You can review a draft of the annual estimate here.
Please provide any feedback on the draft by November 15 by emailing mn.housing@state.mn.us with the subject line “Comments on Annual Emergency Rental Assistance.”
Additionally, we will be hosting a webinar on November 4 at 11 a.m. to discuss the report. Register for the webinar here.
We may not be able to incorporate all suggested changes for this year’s report. However, we will produce this report annually and will have the opportunity to make additional adjustments in future reports. The annual estimate is a statutory requirement passed into law by the 2024 Minnesota Legislature.
Events
We are often out and about in communities around the state. We also occasionally cohost community housing forums around the state. Check our events calendar for upcoming events in your region.
