RentHelpMN – Targeted Assistance
RentHelpMN – Targeted Assistance program is permanently closed, along with the original RentHelpMN program. These were both one-time federally funded programs that will not reopen. If you need housing assistance, please see the resources on the Find Housing Help page for other programs.
RentHelpMN – Targeted Assistance was a federally funded, referral-based program providing direct assistance for renters who have experienced or were at risk of financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was designed to help prevent homelessness and maintain housing stability.
Minnesota Housing contracted with select service providers to administer the program. The service providers identified eligible renters in their community and helped them apply for the program.
Program Summary
